Privacy Policy

Rollback is a dice game published by MarkDid, LLC. This policy explains what happens to information when you play the app, view an ad, make the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase, or contact us. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support+rollback@markdid.dev.

Information handled by the app

  • Game and settings on your device. An unfinished game, scores, player labels, and sound and haptic settings are saved on your device so you can resume playing. We do not operate a game account or upload this game data to our server. Removing the app or clearing its data removes this local copy, subject to any device backup you control.
  • Advertising. If ads are available, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may receive your IP address, an approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. This information is used to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve the advertising service. The app asks Google's consent system whether it may request ads before loading one. An interstitial may appear after a game ends; it does not appear between turns. Ads are removed after a valid Remove Ads purchase.
  • Purchase and ad events. Apple or Google Play processes the in-app payment, depending on where you obtained the app. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an automatically generated anonymous app user ID to validate the purchase, restore it, and enable the ad-free entitlement. The app also sends RevenueCat ad delivery, interaction, and revenue events, including an ad impression ID and ad unit ID. We do not receive your payment card number.
  • Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer and resolve your request.

Where information goes

Your game and settings are stored locally. Advertising data is handled by Google and its advertising partners. Purchase and ad event data is handled by RevenueCat and, for the transaction, Apple or Google Play. Our public website is hosted by Netlify, which may process ordinary web request information such as IP addresses and browser data when you visit it; see Netlify's privacy policy. We do not run separate in-app analytics or a game-data backend.

Your choices

You can choose whether to make the one-time purchase, and you can restore it through Settings. Where required, Google's consent form appears before ads are requested. You can revisit available ad privacy choices in the app's Settings. Device settings and applicable platform controls may also limit advertising identifiers or personalized ads. You can stop future in-app advertising by buying Remove Ads, although purchases and related records remain with the applicable app store and RevenueCat as needed to validate and restore the purchase.

You can request access to or deletion of information we control by emailing support+rollback@markdid.dev. Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant support correspondence or purchase record. Apple and Google's own privacy tools may be needed for information they control. We cannot erase an app store purchase from your store account, and deleting a RevenueCat record may prevent restoration of Remove Ads.

Retention and security

We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and maintain appropriate business records. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Netlify apply their own retention practices to information they process; their linked policies provide details. We use those services rather than storing payment details or game histories on our own server. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Children

Rollback is not primarily directed to children. Parents and guardians should decide whether the game and its ads are suitable for children in their care. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete information within our control. We do not collect game histories on a server.
